OUR VISION
OUR MISSION
TPFI as an organisation contributes towards improving and maintaining the dignity and quality of life across the lifespan of Persons with Special Needs (PSNs) or Extremely Vulnerable Individuals (EVIs) – the children, orphans and vulnerable children (OVCs), women and the elderly with a vibrant, pleasant, healthy and a supportive environment that enables the cultivation and restoration of hope through promotion of health, education, well-being and research, human rights advocacy, psycho-social support programmes, peace-building, capacity building and any other efforts that facilitate building fulfilled lives, harmonious, an inter-generational community and a dynamic society.
AREAS OF FOCUS
Executive Director Richard Obedi started TPFI-Uganda in 2003 which was later constituted by a group of professionals as a non-profit making organisation.
“With the increasing recognition of the need to engage, understand and incorporate a wealth of knowledge, opinions and approaches governments are increasingly looking to civil society to present new, alternative and progressive views for the future.”
