Public Private Partnerships of Jamaica

In October 2012, the government released a framework for PPPs called the Government of Jamaica Policy and Institutional Framework for the Implementation of Public Private Partnerships.

The framework will be overseen by the Privatisation Committee of cabinet. The PPP unit in the Privatisation Division of the Development Bank of Jamaica and a PPP node located in the Ministry of Finance and Planning will also have a major role in the development of PPPs.
